I sucumb, the result? A Sublime Saturday.

 A list ‘To Do’ as long as my arm…  Sewing for work to be tacked up…

Hoovering…the dog emptied the contents of a bag of airfix ‘landscape scatter” all over the stairs!

Washing….washing everywhere…. escaping from an ever increasing pile…ironing… don’t mention the ironing.

All this after working many late nights with a school production last week.

So after a quick discussion with the toh, on priorities and needs and wants etc.

Do you know what I actually did?

No? 

Then I will tell you what I actually did yesterday…..

Had a lay in, with coffee supplied and reread Simply crochet’s latest issue.

Arose slowly..

Put on my ‘sloppys’ and slippers tied hair in a messy ponytail and began my sublime Saturday…

First I ‘Fixed’ the 12yr olds Pc.

Next I turned my attention to my bulging ‘blue’ yarn drawer..I turned it from this… 

….into this……

I’ll have you know I worked many a long and hard hour on that yarn winder!

Then I……started the edging on my rainbow blanket….

And later, after I had completed a whole 5 rounds…(only 1 left to do!)

well much later….we watched ‘les Miserables’ and ate baked potatoes with beans topped off with shavings of parmesan accompanied by lashings of red wine…

Now thats what I call 

A sublime Saturday… do you agree

So I suppose you know what I am doing today…….

Yep!

….clearing up that Airfix ‘scatter’ that has now been ‘walked’ all through the house ….

No regrets though!
