Progress Report on sewing Butterick 5187

I have some progress to report. Do you remember this pattern?

Butterick 5187.

A charity shop find for very little money; the pattern was my size, uncut and complete, hurrah!

I had chosen to make the white one with added puffed sleeves, in rust coloured needlecord.

I spent an afternoon and a few evening hours here and there…

and cutting…..

(Do you know these are my least favourite sewing/dressmaking tasks)

but I do feel very satisfied when I have a pile of ready to sew pieces.

……next there were pleats to baste

and…..

and this is where I am today…….

assembling and trying….

More later…..

Happy Sunday to you all……what are you doing today?

I always appreciate a share!
