Sewing a new for old pegbag.

Oh dear just look at this poor ‘old bag’ below…at least 6 years old and on her last legs, full of holes and unable to fulfill her vital function….

Considered ‘beautiful in her time,  she has been well loved and of course was extremely  ‘useful’ or she would not be living with us today…

(thank you William Morris for providing the rule by which I live my life? “Yeah right? hahaha…” says the other half!!)

An urgent recycle was called for “tout suite”

New pegs were bought in anticipation….

Do you ever try to match your pegs to your washing as you peg it out…..you know ….

‘blue pegs for blue tops…etc etc….

NO? 

is it just me then….??

 The fabric is ‘Cath K’ (an old print from a blind I removed and unpicked and stashed ages ago)

I reused the same hanger and all decorations added, were on my sewing table….literally because I had not tidied them away.

I was very lazy …after all it was soooo hot…
